     There are four specifications of Hopcalite catalyst - Ø 1.1mm, Ø 1.5mm, Ø 2.0mm and Ø 3.0mm. The size affects the pressure drop of gas flow and the rate of catalytic reaction, and ultimately determines the height and volume of catalyst bed. Hopcalite, also known as carbon monoxide catalyst, is a transition metal oxide catalyst with high activity. It can effectively catalyze harmful carbon monoxide to carbon dioxide by the oxidation. The product can be used when related to life safety, such as mine rescue capsule or refuge chamber.

     Properties

     Hopcalite catalyst is brown black particles. It has the characteristics of high activity.

     The main properties are as follows:

     High specific surface area and high oxidation efficiency.

     Optimized ratio of composite transition metal oxides.

     Low dust content.

     Application

     Hopcalite catalyst can catalyze oxidation to remove more than 10% respiratory gas harmful ingredients. It mainly includes the following uses:

Catalytic oxidation of carbon monoxide at normal pressure in a filtered gas mask

     · mine rescue capsule or refuge chamber.

     · remove hydrogen in a closed environment.

     working principle

     Hopcalite is a kind of oxidation catalyst, which can adsorb and combine the gaseous oxygen in the surrounding air, and activate the adsorbed oxygen to produce catalytic oxidation.

     Hopcalite + target material + [O2] → Hopcalite + oxidized target material. If the purification process is carried out at a sufficiently high temperature, the products are usually only carbon dioxide and water.

     Hopcalite transition metal composite oxide catalyst can receive and release oxygen molecules adsorbed on its surface simultaneously. Therefore, as a catalyst for catalytic oxidation, it can also be used at much lower temperature than usual.
